Off- Dry Modern Hard Cider

Fighting Elleck

Alexander Hays, aka "Fighting Elleck," was a Union Army General in the U.S. Civil War. Known by his men to be "brave as a lion," after having been seriously injured on multiple occasions and having two horses shot out from underneath him during the Gettysburg Campaign, he was killed in the Battle of the Wilderness in 1864. He is buried locally at Allegheny Cemetery. Fighting Elleck Hard Apple Cider is medium-bodied, well-balanced, smooth and refreshing with light effervescence.

Bone- Dry Modern Hard Cider

Picket

During the U.S. Civil War, the Picket soldier was a point man providing alarm in the event of an ambush. The mortality rate was quite high. As uncommon as the Picket soldier, Picket Bone Dry Hard Apple Cider is hand-crafted in small batches near the historic Allegheny Arsenal. Unlike mass-produced "dry" hard ciders, Picket is completely fermented to dryness. Light-bodied, tart, lightly effervescent with structured acidity and a subtle earthiness. Brut!

Archibald's Ado

Archibald Rowand was a Union spy in the U.S. Civil War. After being recognized as such by the Confederate Army, he was chased in his underwear, determined to deliver a pivotal message to General Grant from "Fightin' Phil" Sheridan. For his perseverance, he received the Medal of Honor. Archibald's Ado Hard Apple Cider is hand-crafted in small batches near the historic Allegheny Arsenal. Benjamin Grierson was a Union Army General in the U.S. Civil War. He led "Grierson's Raid" deep into Confederate territory as a major diversionary tactic as part of the Vicksburg campaign. This raid was said to strike "fear in the hearts of the citizens and somewhat demoralized the Confederate forces who failed to stop the move." Grierson's Ginger is hand-crafted in small batches. Murrary's Mead

Alexander Murray was a Union Navy Rear Admiral during the U.S. Civil War. In 1862, while in command of the screw steamer Louisiana, he destroyed twenty-seven enemy vessels and approached to within 11 miles of Richmond, the capital of the Confederacy. The USS Murray, deployed in WWI, was his namesake. Murray's Mead is hand-crafted in small batches near the historic Allegheny Arsenal. Full-bodied with notes of honey caramel. Dog Robber

During the U.S. Civil War, the Dog Robber was an Aide-de-camp for the commanding officer. He was charged with, among other things, cooking and scrounging around for food, including honey. Many times, the camp canine would mysteriously disappear... food was tough to find so sometimes they had to "Rob the Dog." Dog Robber Bone Dry Mead is handcrafted in small batches near the historic Allegheny Arsenal. Unlike other "dry" meads, Dog Robber is completely fermented to dryness. Light-bodied and smooth with structured acidity. Brut!
